January, the month of my birth. Nothing remarkable happened, I turned 26 and that’s about it! We had snow and H was loving it (hopefully you can see the link)…

February was a good and bad month, Mr Almost 2 actually turned 2 (going on 22) and McD and I decided to have a break. He moved out and H, Susie (our pooch) and I became a single parent family. That wasn’t fun!
March was much better, I started college one afternoon a week in preparation for becoming a full time student in September. College made me feel alive again. I had a purpose other than being H’s mum. My older brother finally moved out of my spare room and in with his girlfriend. It would have been my 9th wedding anniversary with my ex husband on the 26th and for the first time ever this came and went without me even noticing!
April was even better. McD and I decided to give things another go and at the end of this month he came home. I was still at college and H was as fun as ever.
May was the month I finished my college course and secured my place on the full time course in September, my Ovarian cyst ruptured and I booked tickets for my BFF and I to go see the Weeknd in Birmingham for her birthday!
In June H-bomb got chicken pox, which was a huge amount of fun! I’m glad that one is over and done with…
July brought with it some nice weather so we spent lots of time outdoors.
August was McD’s 32nd birthday, we had a joint celebration (he’s a twin) with his family and H got some super snazzy photos done.
Oh and I can’t forget that I got to go and see the rock legend, Robert Plant, with my brother and dad…
And McD and I finally finished off our living room!
September was another glorious month where we spent a lot of time outside. It was also the month that I started college full time and H-bomb started spending three days a week at my mums house.
October came and went, I got to go and see Robert Plant again with my parents and H continued to bring us so much joy.
November was the month where my beautiful grandad turned 80. This was my status update:
I would like to wish my lovely grandad a happy 80th birthday. He’s not well enough to understand how amazing this achievement is, we never thought he would reach this day. He has been the biggest inspiration in my life, the reason I have chosen the path I am on and a constant reminder of the love my family has for one another. Alzheimer’s robbed us of our lovely freddo years ago but also taught us to appreciate him and each other in ways we never would have without it. Love you lots Derek Kenneth Pans.
And finally December, Christmas and all that Jazz! What a fun month we have had. I may have gained a few pounds but at least I’ll be warm this winter
It has been such a great year. I hope 2014 is just as exciting. Happy new year to you all <3 <3 <3
